They say pride comes before a fall. So it seems with my blogging. Only a couple of days after I wrote about how well my month of daily blogging was going and I have missed the midnight deadline for today’s blog.
Trying to squeeze in writing every day is proving a bit tricky with other responsibilities to work and family. I have also been trying to keep up with National Novel Writing Month.
The idea is to write 1,667 words a day. Keep up the quantity and worry about quality later. It is day 7 and I should be over 10,000 words. I have managed about 3,500. So I am definitely falling behind. Oh well. We shall see. I am too tired to deal with any of this now and need to get my beauty rest. Luckily, whilst I have been writing this at nearly one o’clock in the morning on a Tuesday night, on the other side of the wall pictured, my neighbours have decided to start playing loud music.
